One month and twelve days...What's up with that?

It's been way too long and unfortunately, I have little time right now to be as verbose as you know I am capable of being...Did you know that you can "Google" Shoedawgshoe and entries actually appear? I am in awe...my tiny blog is registering in the blogosphere - SUHWEET!

The Pope's shoes will appear soon...just no time at the moment...should've been getting ready for a party but here I am...Actually, "D" is going to prom (GASP!) and I am waiting for him to come down donning his tux (with a red vest) -- I told him that I am rubbing off my UGA influence on him yet (black tux, red vest...red & black...NUHICE!) and he dashed my confidence saying that they had run out of orange vests (he's going to Clemson - another COLLECTIVE GASP!)...Glad red was his second choice - am thinking of patting him on the back with a sticker that reads, "I'd rather be a Bulldawg..." but don't know how I can pull that one off...

Will be back in full swing soon but wanted to leave you with some POWERFUL shoe quotes (and by the way, I am wearing my 40th birthday present to a 40th birthday party tonight -SHOES! sassy green, open-toed, studded, SUEDE (but cool to wear in Spring) 3 1/2 inch heals...they are smokin'....Mark is going to have to touch up the home grown French pedicure...okay, TMI...BACK to the quotes....

"If they are stylish, we feel stylish and to hell with comfort." Colin McDowell, Shoes: Fashion and Fantasy (AMEN, COLIN! Comfort Shmumfort...)

"If the shoe fits, it's too expensive." Adrienne Gusof (IS THERE ANY SUCH THING AS A SHOE THAT IS TOO EXPENSIVE, HELLO? Style RULES and food and shelter are overated!)

"Keep tight inside of them (the ruby shoes) - their magic must be very powerful, or she wouldn't want them so badly!" Glenda, The Wizard of Oz ---there is incredible magic in a pair of SASSY red shoes, right? Am going to see "Wicked" in a couple of weeks - maybe I will get insight into their magic (heck, that red magic works for me every time!)

"I don't want to feel a shoe. I want the shoe to become part of me." Daniel S. and Stephanie R. Sorine (Okay? Enough said!....and if the shoe becomes a part of me, I am open to considering surgical procedures to remove the pair from my feet...or not...if they are awesome!)

"I've spent $40,000 on shoes and I have no place to live? I will literally be the old woman who lived in her shoes!" Carrie, Sex and the City (Uh, she must've been listening to me...I have always said I will be the best dressed (shoes and all) woman in the unemployment line...)

LIFE IS SUPERB...Buy the shoes!
